CAPF ASI Steno Skill Test Dictation
In the CAPF ASI Steno skill test, the dictation will be given at a speed of 80 words per minute for 10 minutes. After the dictation, you will have 50 minutes for transcription if you are an English stenographer, and 65 minutes if you are a Hindi stenographer.

CAPF ASI Steno Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent as of 01/08/2024.
A candidate applying for the post must be between 18 and 25 years as on 01/08/2024. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC will be given.

CAPF ASI Steno Salary
As a CAPF ASI Steno, you will receive a very good salary. According to the 7th Pay Commission, you will be paid at Pay Level 5, which ranges from ₹29,200 to ₹92,300.
To break it down:
- Your base salary will be ₹29,200.
- After adding House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), and other allowances, your gross salary will be around ₹55,000.
- After deductions for Provident Fund (PF), your net in-hand salary as a CAPF ASI Steno will be around ₹50,000 per month.
